China media is concerning on the head coach Lippi’s side encountering Vietnam in the 2022 World Cup Qualifying round.

Ahead of World Cup qualifiers in Asia, China media worries for their home team to fall into a hard-fought group in which Vietnam is a biggest problem to them.

According to Sina Sports: “All forty national team attending the second qualifying round nearly appear, China will sit in group 1 so they will avoid such strong opponents as Iran, Japan, UAE, Qatar, Australia or Saudi Arabia.

However, Lippi’s side should concern since there are some threats from teams in the group 2 and 3 including Syria, Iraq, Uzbekistan or Vietnam- a strong team in recent time. We might fall into a group of ‘death’. If we are in the same group with them, China national team will not win”.

Accoring to Footy Ranking, Vietnam national team will sit 96th in the world, and 15th in Asia on the FIFA rankings. Park Hang-seo stroop is grouped in the pot 2 in the draw thereby, Vietnam is likely to be pooled with China in the same pot.

Experts consider China a comfortable opponent, sitting in the same group with China will bring advantage for others as China footbal is going down because of the lack of talented players.
