Indonesia summoned up the first 24-member squad for the training campaign in Pakansari Stadium in Bogor to brace for the World Cup 2022 qualifiers starting next month.

Timnas is pitted in group G alongside with Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and UAE. They will take on Malaysia in Jakarta on September 5, following by a game against Thailand on Sept 10.

The 41-year-old strategist also hopes the Indonesian supporters to have a huge influence in these matches. “I know how it is to play in a packed Gelora Bung Karno Stadium and the atmosphere immediately has an effect.
