Park Hang-seo confirms not to come back to South Korea

Park Hang-seo said that he will spend the rest of his career in Vietnam, instead of coming back to South Korea.

After two years of working in Vietnam, Park Hang-seo has become a football symbol, which makes South Korean fans wish him to come back and develop their football.

Howeverm in the recent share, Park stated that he has no intention to come back. His career will be in Vietnam.

“South Korea has many young talented coaches who are better than me, so I will not come back. I think my career in South Korea is over. I also extended my contract with Vietnam NT so I will not go anywhere,” Park told South Korean media.

Park will always put more effort to complete his task in Vietnam  as he really appreciates the love of supporters.

The South Korean stratergist is also surprised by what he did in the past time. In a servere environment that no coach can work more than 8 months, he thought he could only work maximum of 1 year.

“My success is from good colleagues and excellent players. Those results are good enough for me to renew the contract and get trust from Vietnamese people,” Park are grateful to everyone.

Talking about Vietnamese football, the 60-year-old coach said the development has taken place quickly in the past 2 years. However, in order to reach a big tournament like the Olympics or the World Cup as fans expected, Vietnamese football still has to improve in many different ways.

Coach Park Hang Seo confirms the future with Vietnam

“In Southeast Asia, both the U22 team and the Vietnam national team have achieved their goals. It is only in Southeast Asia but it is also important to keep the championship. Now we are number one, but we may not be number one in the future. To attend the Olympics and the World Cup, we will need a long-term plan to overcome difficulties.”
