Akira Nishino challenges Viietnam NT ahead of the second leg in World Cup 2022 qualifiers.

Thailand’s coach Akira Nishino has challenged the Vietnamese national team  ahead of their second leg of World Cup 2022 qualifiers.

Thailand will play Vietnam on Nov 19 at Hanoi’s My Dinh stadium following an impressive win over the UAE this week. Thailand is now confident to thrash Vietnam in the second leg.

Akira Nishino claimed, ‘Thailand’s performance is becoming better after every match. The Vietnam vs Thailand clash on My Dinh stadium will be different to what happened in the 0-0 draw.

UAE’s 1-2 thrashing in Thai soil helped Thailand top group G with 7 points, ahead of Vietnam for more goals. The Japanese coach is changing the team’s spirit. The new face of “Changsuek’ is in the spirit and collective play.

“Thailand is doing better day by day after I understand each players’ ability. Everything goes very smooth and positively. After we edged UAE, I believe I found suitable plan to build a strong squad. Every player reached their potentials,” Nishino disclosed why Thailand played high against UAE.

Thailand currently tops group G with 7 points, followed by Vietnam.

Thailand will play Malaysia on Nov 14 before taking on Vietnam.
