Thể Thao 247 - U18 Vietnam, under head coach Hoang Anh Tuan’s lead, arrived in Kong Kong to prepare for the opening match against U18 Singapore.
Coach Hoang Anh’s side will have the first training session Thursday with no pressure on their achievement so they could be confident to face an ASEAN opponent.
The coach also said the youth team is lack of stability and experience, hence, international tournament will improve their skills in the context that they still need training and practice.
“Such tournament like this is their big test and we can judge their professional skills, technique, critical thinking and especially experience in international matches”
The tournament includes U18 teams from Vietnam, Singapore, Myanmar and Hong Kong. This is a chance for U18 Vietnam to prepare for the 2 main goals, ASEAN U18 2019, AFC U19 2020 Qualifiers.
