In the recent share, Thailand former head coach Kiatisuk claimed Vietnam’s advantages benefit from its collective play.

In a recent statement, Thailand’s former head coach Kiatisuk said Vietnam’s strength derives mostly from its teamwork .

“Regarding their style of play, the Vietnamese maintain a fast pace and run the field well. They might be less impressive than the Thai players technically, but they understand each other well because they have been playing alongside each other for a long time”, Zico said.

Kiatisuk is also confident that Thailand will score a victory over Vietnam, “We have the home advantage and Thailand has many good players with an excellent Japanese coach who was a key factor in Japan’s advancement to the World Cup. That’s why I think Thailand has a good chance to win.”

Thailand’s new head coach has just announced the 23-man list with only one striker Supachai Jaded. This has surprised many onlookers.

“I think he has his own plan and we’ll only come to understand his tactics once the game starts.

Thailand’s most outstanding achievement under Kiatisuk was the World Cup 2018 third qualification. The FAT has set the same target for the World Cup 2022.
