‘We will clinch King’s Cup championship’, India coach claims

India coach Igor Stimac claimed that his team side goal is to win and clinch the championship in King’s Cup 2019.

Speaking ahead of King’s Cup 2019, the India coach declares India will fight their best and lift the cup on Chang Arena stadium.

The coach expressed in AFC webpage: At the moment, it’s the off-season, and we are introducing our way of work to the players, and improving on their fitness capacities.

We are going to use the King's Cup to try a few different things, and as many players as possible. At this stage the result is not our priority, but at the same time, we are certainly going there to win matches”.

Recentlt AIFF and Igor stimac officially announce the 237-man list to summon up in national team heading to King’s Cup. The Croatian coach will take only 23 players.

According to the fixtures, India’s opening match will be against Curacao- ranked 82nd in the FIFA rankings.

India list squad:

Defender: Pritam Kotal, Nishu Kumar, Rahul Bheke, Salam Ranjan Singh, Sandesh Jhingan, Adil Khan, Anwar Ali (Jr), Subhasish Bose, Narayan Das.
