Right after SEA Games 30th finishes, Park Hang-seo announced the 28-man list to prepare for the AFC U23 Championship 2020.
U22 Vietnam win SEA Games gold medal by thrashing Indonesia in the final. Accordingly, U22 team will arrive in Vietnam today afternoon with the women’s team.
The players on the roster will have two days off before visiting South Korea for training campaign on Dec 13.
U23 Vietnam’s core players will be those win SEA Games 30th, notably Dinh Trong’s return. It is likely that Dinh Trong will fully recover right before the tournament.
AFC U23 Championship 2020 final will kicks off between Jan 8 and Jan 26. Vietnam is pooled in group D with Jordan, North Korea and UAE. U23 Vietnam goal is to reach the Olympic Tokyo 2020 in Japan.
