Thể Thao 247 - Vietnam NT’s neighbors: Malaysia and Indonesia are in full swings to prepare for World Cup 2022 Qualification and Asian Cup 2023.

To make the best preparation for the national team, Malaysia decided to hasten the progress in naturalizing for striker Michael Chukwubunna – the player now wearing UKM FC shirt. Michael Chukwubunna is likely attend the first qualification in time.

Mr. Tan Cheng Hoe told: “FAM does not guarantee that Michael could put on the team shirt in June yet everything is going well. They have given positive reviews.

Obviously, it is a piece of terrific news because of his presence making the formation stronger. I hope the government will approve his case. I will let him join the training at a drop of the hat. He will need time to learn my football philosophy as well as his teammates. I would not take a risk in the match wherein we face Timor Leste before testing Michael Chukwubunna.”

The new coach Simon McMenemy will gather players for two friendly games on FIFA Day from 3/6 to 11/6.

Since the day becoming Indonesia’s head coach, McMenemy has been snatched just one victory with the team. The very friendly games in June will help the strategist give the best suitable choice in the upcoming tournament.
